"Once this is finished, I'll have a clearer idea of where the
cuts should be made. Invariably, some lines end up running together
and I wind up with a bigger slice than I planned. In this photo, you
can see some of my tools of the trade: the lid cutting knife, the
scoop, the main carving saw, the poker that transferred the design,
an apple corer (large circles, not on this pumpkin), and a metal chopstick
(for pushing out cut pieces). " |
